Celtic’s Europa League match against AC Milan won’t be shown on the club’s Virtual Season Ticket.

BT Sport has exclusive rights to the two main UEFA club competitions and will screen next Thursday’s match across their network with Chris Sutton central to their coverage.

There had been speculation that clubs would be able to stream Europa League matches but that was put to bed today in a tweet from John Paul Taylor, Celtic’s Supporter Liason Officer.

BT Sport will be showing all of Celtic’s group matches with 8pm kick offs at home and 5.55pm for the away games.

Last season Celtic excelled at that stage, beating Lazio home and away in two thrilling matches to ensure qualification for the knock-out stage with two matches left to play.

Neil Lennon’s squad have a similar looking group this season with Lille and Sparta Prague also in action on Thursday.

The next Celtic match on the Virtual Season Ticket is against St Johnstone on December 6 with the next two months dominated by away matches and cup ties.
