Celtic’s SLO has dropped a strong hint that Ryan Christie will be available to play in tomorrow’s Glasgow derby.

The midfielder was forced into 14 days of self-isolation after being deemed to be a close contact of Stuart Armstrong who returned a positive test.

Christie denied that he had broken protocols with Celtic following that up by questioning the Test and Track procedure that identified the midfielder as well as Kieran Tierney as close contacts.

Arsenal appear to be confident of getting Tierney clear to play tomorrow against Manchester City with Celtic fans looking for a similar decision on their player.

Arsenal and Celtic have both queried the process that identified their players as close contacts, Professor Jason Leitch reveaed that it was based on one phone call to Armstrong.

Celtic will definitely be without Hatem Abd Elhamed and Nir Bitton for tomorrow’s match after both players tested positive with the Israeli international squad.

There is no word yet on whether Odsonne Edouard will be involved with the striker having completed 10 days self-isolation after a positive test with the French u-21 side.
