After scoring twice on his debut against Grenoble, Vakoun Bayo has gone five matches without scoring for Toulouse.

The on loan striker appeared to get off to the perfect start with his double on the opening day of the season but things have gone a bit flat since that high.

On Saturday Bayo was substituted after 65 minutes away to Ajaccio with an 87th minute goal giving his side their second win of the season, lifting them into 12th place in Lique 2.

According to Soccerway the striker has played in 447 minutes of his six appearances this season after moving out on loan ahead of the start of the season.

After relegation last season Toulouse have struggled to adapt to life in the second tier with Bayo’s season long loan intended to deliver the goals needed for a quick return to the top flight.

Soon after joining Celtic from Dunajska Streda in January 2019 he was injured, in the first half of last season he featured in eight matches without ever threatening to nail down a regular starting place.
