Odsonne Edouard has broken his silence after news last night that he had tested positive on international duty with the French u-21 squad.
News broke on the official French National Team twitter account with the striker ruled out of two u-21 matches over the next week.
Rather than enquiries about his health and wishing him a full recovery the news prompted speculation over whether or not he’ll be available for the Glasgow derby on October 17.
Thank you all for your messages of support ! I’m fine and I would come back stronger, Take care of yourself and your family ???

Scottish rules require Edouard to self isolate for 10 days which provided future tests are negative will allow him to resume training on Friday October 16.
For now he will remain in France under the care of the FFF who reported no other positive tests from their u-21 squad and management.
Last night Celtic confirmed that none of their players had tested positive following Sunday’s 2-0 win at St Johnstone.
