Odsonne Edouard won’t be involved in Celtic’s Europa League tie against AC Milan tomorrow night.

The striker tested positive on duty with the French u-21 squad 16 days ago and although he returned to Scotland last week he won’t be considered for the match against the current leaders of Serie A.

Neil Lennon used four strikers in Saturday’s derby defeat with the second half pairing of Leigh Griffiths and Albian Ajeti showing up slightly better than Moi Elyounoussi and Patryk Klimala.

In recent matches Neil Lennon has gone with a 3-5-2 formation but facing an in-form Italian side may see him revert back to a four man defence.

After dropping four points behind in the SPFL Premiership tomorrow night’s selection is bound to reflect some thoughts towards Sunday’s match at Aberdeen.

It’s unlikely that any of the players missing since the international break will be available for Pittodrie but next week’s trip to Lille should see Nir Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed back in contention.
