Neil Lennon has confirmed that there was Deadline Day interest in Olivier Ntcham.
The midfielder joined Celtic from Manchester City in 2017, after an outstanding first season his form has been up and down as he battles to work his way into the regular starting XI.
With his pedigree as a former Manchester City prospect and French u-21 internationalist his profile is high but the reports of interest from Bordeaux and Brest appeared to be loan enquires rather than putting money on the table.

Asked about interest in Olivier Ntcham Lennon said:
There was just a bit of interest, but nothing that we were interested in doing for a start and nothing that would have tempted us either.
Ntcham, in common with Odsonne Edouard, Kris Ajer and Ryan Christie has two years left on his Celtic contract which makes a departure next summer almost inevitable.
With David Turnbull and Tom Rogic also available to Lennon the Celtic boss has a number of options in midfield beyond the first choice trio of Scott Brown, Callum McGregor and Christie.
