Kris Ajer is a major doubt for Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen.
Eight minutes into the second half of the 2-2 draw against Lille the defender chased a ball down towards the corner flag then pulled up with what appeared to be a groin muscle injury.
Nir Bitton came on to partner Shane Duffy in central defence as Celtic’s central defensive jinx continued.

Chris Jullien has been missing for seven weeks with a back issue while Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed both tested positive while on international duty.
