Neil Lennon picked out Moi Elyounoussi and Scott Bain for special praise after Celtic’s 2-2 draw away to Lille.
The on-loan winger scored two first half goals to put Celtic in front with Bain saving a penalty as Lille piled on the pressure looking for a way back into the match.
After 27 minutes Elyounoussi showcased his ability with a purposeful run off the left wing before guiding home a brilliant 28 yard drive that the left the home keeper motionless.
Less than five minutes later he fired home a low shot from a Jeremie Frimpong cut-back to put Celtic in a great position.
?? NL on @Moielyo: “It’s the best I’ve seen him. He was strong and fit. He scored two beauties and was tremendous. He just has to get that consistency now. He was a class player tonight and a real catalyst for a very strong performance.”#LOSCCEL #UEL pic.twitter.com/7CLhf8cRtr

NL on @ScottBain_: “I was delighted with Scott, thought he was excellent. We felt aggrieved with the decision but he made a great penalty save, couple of good saves and he handled everything well.”#LOSCCEL #UEL pic.twitter.com/Z5Gj7ZMVRp

Lille were very fortunate to get a penalty for a trip outside the penalty box by Shane Duffy but fortunately Bain’s right leg was able to block the spot-kick.
The French side stepped up their game after the break to score in the 67th and 75th minute but Celtic also created chances of their own and deserved to take a point from the match.
