Douglas Ross showed his true colours, and many faces, last night when he voted down a motion to provide English schoolkids with free meals.
During the summer Marcus Rashford shamed Boris Johnson into a u-turn on the issue, it seems that awarding him an MBE hasn’t blunted his fire and commitment to a cause that cuts to the heart of a Government defending and supporting the population.
A motion was debated on yesterday in Westminster with a vote taken at the end, the man with the flag screaming RED CARD RED CARD voted to starve children, to send some to sleep hungry at night.
Ross, or Dross as he has been dubbed on social media, has recently undergone a media makeover with former Daily Record and Sun reporter Russell Findlay trying to highlight his human side, the family guy that sings to Atomic Kitten and watches videos of cows when he is not on Zoom calls with the Scottish Tory leadership.
The cynics/realists saw right through it, the touching stories of Dross and his son Alistair were cast aside at the Ballot Box last nigh when the favourite son of the SFA had the chance to help millions of kids across England.
Showing his lack of independent thought and compassion the man that picks up £475 and mileage for waving a flag on a Saturday afternoon voted against feeding the poorest of English school children. Doing as he was told.
Only a month ago he was coasting along on the promise of free school meals. So why didn’t @Douglas4Moray vote for free school meals for English children over the holidays?
This is a taster of what he would bring to the Scottish Parliament.

If you can do one thing for me tonight, sign the petition ??https://t.co/FvvpO71zOv
It’s time we put party politics aside and worked together to find a long-term sustainable solution to child food poverty in the UK.
Implement the 3 asks.
I appreciate you all ??
