Moi Elyounoussi and Kris Ajer have been given the all-clear to train with Celtic today and will be available to play against Hibs on Saturday.

The Norwegian duo were involved in a weekend of drama, on Saturday afternoon they were preparing for a flight to Romania but 24 hours later they were on scheduled flights back to Scotland with the threat of a jail sentence if they broke a Quarantine order that lasted until November 23.

With no positive test results or claims over being a close contact there seemed no reason that they shouldn’t return to action with Celtic but the threat of a jail sentence isn’t to be taken lightly.

Celtic’s Media Team are rarely in action outside of office hours but just before 11pm their Twitter account came to life.

There seems to be little obvious reason for the late announcement, it could have been made after 9am on Wednesday with the same impact. Mid morning pictures of the duo back in training at Lennoxtown would have sent out the same message.

Elyounoussi was in great scoring form before the international break but Ajer will need to have a groin injury assesses after missing two matches then being substituted after 80 minutes of the 4-1 win away to Motherwell.

Norway has sent an ’emergency squad to face Austria tonight after the Romania match was cancelled, full details are HERE on VG.
