Despite a day of unremitting anger and calls for change at Celtic it is clear that Neil Lennon will continue as manager.
Two wins from eight matches and a double-digit gap at the top of the SPFL appear to have ad no real impact on Celtic with the only suspicion of concern being the silence of the club’s Social Media platforms.
Inside the club there may be talks on-going but on the surface it seems that the Celtic bubble is immune to the concerns of supporters as the season unravels at an alarming rate.
While Lennon is the focus of the anger there is a shifting of blame towards Peter Lawwell with the suspicion growing that the recruitment process that appointed Lennon now providing the biggest obstacle to his removal and installing a replacement.

Diego Laxalt bagged a last-minute equaliser for the Hoops at Easter Road to salvage a 2-2 draw. The result left Celts fans livid, with many calling for Lennon to be sacked or walk away from his managerial position.
However, there is consensus from various sources this morning that Lenny will not be leaving his post as Hoops gaffer. And they claim that the Northern Irishman retains the full backing of the Parkhead hierarchy. Lennon has lost just one domestic game in 2020 and has not lost a trophy since re-joining the club in 2019.
He has come in for ferocious criticism from a large section of Celtic’s support though following the Champions League exit to Ferencvaros and a stuttering start to the league campaign.
Lennon is due to face the media in a Zoom conference on Wednesday ahead of the Europa League tie against Sparta Prague which has become incidental with the other issues around the club.
