Fans slammed The Sun and urged Celtic to take action against the newspaper for their Jeremie Frimpong story.
Within an hour the online headline was changed but it was too late with screenshots being shared across Twitter.
With the SPFL saying that the player didn’t break any protocol it seems like the Glasgow based publisher has been flapping around to try and get a story that was available on Instagram three weeks ago.
Celtic fans of course are no great fans of newspapers, long before the Daily Record ran with their tale of ‘Thugs and Thieves’ there was a disdain for publishers at a time when Social Media barely existed.
Keeping the News and Sports sections of a publisher in balance is a difficult task, at The Sun and inside Celtic today both sides will be deciding how that relationship is working.

How are you still in business

I’m blocking this rag . I suggest every Celtic supporter does the same. The SPFL have cleared our player from any wrong doing. This personal attack on our player and Club is from Douglas Walker and the Sun .
