It seems to be business as usual at Lennoxtown this morning with Neil Lennon and the players reported to be training ahead of Thursday’s match against AC Milan.

With its remote location and inclement weather there seems to be no sign of any supporters protesting after yesterday’s post match events.

A number of newspapers, including The Sun and Daily Mail are expecting ‘crunch talks’ to take place but other than a statement to criticise supporters there has no been no on the record comments from the club.

Yesterday’s defeat from Ross County brought an end to a 35 match winning run in domestic cup competitions but after two wins in nine matches it was no great shock.

Not since the darkest days of the fifties have Celtic lost four consecutive home matches but that is one of the unwanted records that the squad will take with them to Italy on Wednesday.

Neil Lennon signed a 12 month rolling contract in May 2019 when he took on the manager’s job on a permanent basis.
