The good news flowing out of Ibrox is non-stop with Planning Permission granted yesterday for a Club Museum and Fanzone.
Getting Planning Permission and actually building something are two entirely different matters with no news on a start date for construction or a Gala Opening Ceremony.
News directly released by the club seems to reach publication without a thought which is hardly surprising when no Mainstream outlet has questioned the finances and accounts of the club formed in 2012 by the big handed Yorkshireman, Charles Green.
Audited accounts haven’t been seen since June 2019 which came with a warning that £10m was required to see the club through the following 12 months.
Interim accounts for the six months to 31 December 2019 are required to play in the 2020/21 UEFA competitions but only the Licencing Committee of the SFA have been able to view those figures.
With just a Petrofac Cup and numerous hard luck stories to celebrate, Celtic fans were quick to comment on the museum story shared by STV.
