Steven Gerrard used his pre-match interview with Sky Sports to highlight that Kilmarnock have some players who are ‘obviously not Rangers fans’.

After two and a half years inside Ibrox it seems that the Liverpool legend has bought into the paranoia that dominates the thoughts of everyone inside the company.

Following his first game in the SPFL Gerrard complained about decisions going against his club for years, now it seems that he expects opposing players to lend a hand or two for the cause.

Stuart Findlay and Calum Waters are two ex-Celtic youth team players that never made a top team appearance, whoever they play against they play for their professional pride, for their club and above all the bonuses for a point or three.

Listening in to his pre-match interview with Sky Sports when he was asked about Kilmarnock, The Sun reports Gerrard saying:

They’ve got good coaches here, a good manager. They’ve had previous good players in the past and they’ve got good players here today.

They are organised, they are well-drilled. There’s a few players in there that are obviously not Rangers fans so they come and compete and make it really difficult for you.

Two seasons ago Findlay scored a last minute winning goal against Celtic, perhaps he feels that Irish duo Alan Power and Gary Dicker might be trying harder than Kirk Broadfoot and Chris Burke?
