News that the online shop remains open wasn’t really the tweet that Celtic fans had been waiting for.
Almost 48 hours after wishing Scott Bain a Happy Birthday the club Twitter account was back in action but the replies from supporters was far from positive.
Neil Lennon remains the focus of most anger but a number of fans are calling out the Board of Directors and questioning the wisdom of funding the club through merchandise and other revenue streams.
On Friday the club launched their Christmas video but after the draw with Hibs there was little sign of Goodwill to All as more points were thrown away in a season that appears to be close to falling apart.
While some fans hoped for action on Monday those that have followed the actions of a very conservative board didn’t build up their hopes, there is little sign that the leaders of the club share the same concerns of the supporters.
Late on Monday night a few reports emerged that it was business as usual inside the club, the shop may be open but there is little sign of unity across the club as fans wait for a declaration of intent from the Peter Lawwell or Dermot Desmond.
??? Work is being carried out on the main club website (https://t.co/00fJCijgWx) today which may result in periods of downtime. We will try to keep disruption to a minimum.
Please note, @CelticFCShop (https://t.co/MuL6bsx6fE) will not be affected and remains open ?

The part where you get information about how your club is being ran is down. Don’t worry though. Tills are still open for you to throw money at us. No concept of fan perception

Got my hopes up there for a second thinking it was lennon has left but sadly not we really do need a change of manager sooner than later or we can forget about 10 I a row ?

@CelticFCShop most certainly will be affected by fans refusing to spend another penny, while the board think the status quo is acceptable.

Boooooooooooooo !!!!! Utterly despicable. Won’t be buying another thing from the club until Lennon is removed and we have a professional manager in charge with tactics and can get the best squad in the country fit

The thing is. People in there droves will still buy all the merchandise etc. The fans say they wont but always will. Only thing that will hurt them is in the pocket.
