One banner and one tweet set Celtic Social Media alight this morning.
The banner protest from the Green Brigade was quickly shared with Anthony Joseph of Sky Sports News reacting quickly.
So far complaints about Celtic’s performances and results have been dismissed as reactionary and the actions of a small minority. Martin O’Neill has suggested that in a number of newspapers today.
The commitment and passion of the Green Brigade can’t be questioned, just last month they were inside Lennoxtown trying to inspire the Celtic squad ahead of the Glasgow derby.
“There is too much at stake to persevere in hope rather than expectation.”
The Green Brigade have unveiled a banner & released a statement calling for Celtic to sack Neil Lennon.
This is strong stuff and won’t go unnoticed.
Whether it’s the right timing, I’m not so sure… https://t.co/1z25zAalwD

Joseph has been on the Celtic beat since the summer, keeping tabs on transfer activity and other developments.
It is unlikely that there will be any Celtic reaction today but for the hierarchy of the club there can be little doubt that a very substantial amount of supporters have lost faith in the manager with only one outcome expected.
