‘A lot for me to be happy about’ watch what Lennon told BT Sport viewers

Neil Lennon’s delusions reached new heights when he told BT Sport that ‘there was a lot for me to be happy about’ after watching his side crash to a 4-2 defeat to AC Milan in the Europa League.

The Celtic boss is cutting an almost comical figure as he tries to put a positive spin on every set-back while hoops fans look on in despair as a potentially historic season stands on the brink of collapse.

Dropping any more points in the SPFL is likely to send Celtic to Ibrox on January 2 at least 15 points behind with the recent collapse focussed mainly on cup competitions.

Every fan knows that Tom Rogic and Odsonne Edouard are capable of scoring eye-catching goals- tragically they need to score four times in a European match if Celtic are to stand a chance of getting a point.

Last week away to Sparta Prague Lennon went with Scott Bain behind a back four and lost four goals. Last night Vasilis Barkas and Nir Bitton came in to a back three and again four goals were lost.

Lennon has had the chance to resign and leave as a winner with his reputation largely intact. With the team crumbling and his deep in denial media performances he is destroying his legacy despite winning five titles as a manager on a daily basis.
