Celtic fans were split almost 50-50 by tonight’s 2-0 win over Ross County.
Goals by David Turnbull and Leigh Griffiths secured full points but there was little sign of a boost from winning the Scottish up at the weekend.
In what has been a traumatic season so far any win has to be welcomed but the lack of width was a clear problem leaving Griffiths and Odsonne Edouard to roam  and drop deep in search of supply and chances.
Last month’s Betfred Cup defeat from Ross County is still a vivid memory but once Turnbull connected with a cut-back from Jeremie Frimpong there seemed little prospect of a repeat of that upset.
Griffiths could have scored two before he took his header, in the final quarter of the game the County goal led a charmed life but there did seem something hard to detect missing from the performance.
Mikey Johnston enjoyed his third substitute appearance in succession with Neil Lennon likely to make changes for Saturday’s visit to the plastic pith at Hamilton Accies.
Festive cheer for the Bhoys at Paradise – have a great #Christmas, Celts! ??#CELROS pic.twitter.com/N2VGekd28P

That was awful viewing, what are we teaching these players? Running about daft lossing the ball doing what they want
That was like a preseason friendly, play like that against an organised side and we’re fucked, cause we’re not organised.

Some of these players played 120 minutes at the weekend, not an excuse but we got the win, that’s the main thing.

Job done, 3pts. Professional performance from the bhoys, need to build on it now.
Next 3 games 9pts is a MUST. The leagues not over! ?? PS get Johnstone as much minutes as possible, the lad is class— Frimmers (@I_C_Celtic) December 23, 2020
Why has Eddie become so powder puff in front of goal

There’s honestly no pleasing some folk. A clean sheet, never in any danger, players like Griff getting game time and scoring, totally comfortable win and yet folk are moaning.

A win and a clean sheet, that’s all we asked for for Christmas, could’ve and should’ve had another 4 or 5 goals though, but the clean sheet will do Hazard a lot of good too. On to Hamilton we go. Merry Christmas Bhoys & Ghirls, fuck the Huns ? pic.twitter.com/Zb8Ai4tK9z

Edouard missed a couple against Hearts he would have put away last season. Seems like every time he hits the ball its a magnet for the keeper
