Celtic have installed barricades at the top of the Celtic Way in anticipation of fan protests at Sunday’s match against St Johnstone.

Around 200 fans seemed to catch the club and Police unprepared after last week’s defeat from Ross County in the Betfred Cup.

A small number of protestors clashed with the Police as they chanted for change at the club although there was no sign of players being targeted by missiles as claimed in a statement put out by the club.

On the back of last night’s 4-2 defeat from AC Milan in the Europa League the mood of supporters hasn’t altered despite Peter Lawwell’s plea for unity.

Celtic go into Sunday’s match on a run of two wins in 11 matches including four consecutive home defeats for the first time since the fifties.

It seems that there will be no media activities today leaving fans to chew over recent form on Social Media wit 50,000 Season Ticket holders largely left in the datk although there was a club email this morning reminding fans of Christmas Jumper day on December 11 with some special deals available at club outlets.
