Celtic made it four wins out of four in the SPFL with a 3-0 win over Dundee United to finish 2020 on a winning run.

Ismaila Soro and David Turnbull continued their partnership in midfield and found themselves on the scoresheet in the first half with efforts from outside the penalty box

It was the ideal preparation for Saturday’s trip to Ibrox with the only down side a leg injury suffered by Chris Jullien that required lengthy treatment before being stretchered off with Nir Bitton replacing the Frenchman.

Vasilis Barkas came in for Conor Hazard and recorded a clean sheet with Neil Lennon explaining before the match that he had signed the Greek internationalist as his first choice keeper.

Late in the seond half a through ball from Leigh Griffiths was anticipated by Odsonne Edouard who lobbed the keeper to complete the scoring.

Lennon made five substitutions during the second half to use his squad to the max with the guessing game now underway over who will play in defence at Ibrox with the front six looking secured.
