Celtic looked more like their old selves today as they beat Kilmarnock 2-0 to record back-to-back home wins.

Before Thursday’s win against Lille the bhoys hadn’t enjoyed a home win since September but like London buses two have come along almost at one.

Neil Lennon made just two changes to the side that impressed on Thursday night with Greg Taylor and Odsonne Edouard coming in for Diego Laxalt and Patryk Klimala.

The first half was evenly contested but after the break Celtic stepped up a gear with the visitors struggling to stay in contention.

In the 57th minute Moi Elyounousi came in off the left flank with his low 20 yarder taking a touch off a defender’s heal on the way into the net.

Three minutes later there was no doubt about the scorer when Shane Duffy powered home a header from a David Turnbull corner.

As a bonus Mikey Johnston came on for the last five minutes to give Neil Lennon another option for next Sunday’s Scottish Cup Final against Hearts at Hampden.
