Celtic’s shirt sponsor Dafabet have committed a schoolboy error by referring to tomorrow’s opponents as Dundee.
It is four years since DUNDEE UNITED visited Celtic Park but it is no excuse for an error from a company that is working closely with Celtic. Hoops fans wouldn’t be amused at being called Glasgow never mind the name of their lesser known city rivals.
A look at the league table or fixture list would confirm that it is United visiting Celtic Park, the Scottish champions of 1982/83 and the club where the late Jim McLean managed for over 20 years,
Micky Mellon and his side won’t need any extra motivation to get a result, after winning promotion during the summer they are n course to finish in the top six.
Earlier this season it took a late goal from Albian Ajeti to secure Celtic full points at Tannadice.
Neil Lennon will host a media conference at lunchtime today to discuss tomorrow’s match which kicks off at 3pm despite it being a working day for many supporters and season ticket holders.
