Gerry McCulloch took to Twitter on Saturday to question why most of Scotland will go into Tier 4 from Saturday.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon made the announcement at tea-time on Saturday with the five day Christmas window reduced to just one with a range of measures including the closure of non-essential shopping coming in after the Christmas presents are unwrapped.
McCulloch hosts Celtic’s matchday TV shows and other media activities, last week he conducted interviews with Ian Bankier, Peter Lawwell and Neil Lennon for Celtic’s AGM.
Rather than deal with questions from shareholders the club opted for pre-recorded interviews with three central figures with no follow up questions such as when Lawwell said that he hoped the club would reach the Champions League group stage more often.
Before taking on his job with Celtic McCulloch was the anchor-man for Radio Clyde’s Super Scoreboard programme covering the west of Scotland.
As well as covering media conferences at the major clubs he hosted the five nights a week phone-in which mainly involved managing the Glasgow rivalry.
If it is such a quick spreader, how will 3 weeks at Tier 4 stop it? We’ve been on a cycle of lockdowns with a strain that isn’t even half as transmissible ???? https://t.co/n3PyEjxncu

Gerry, most of the Celtic support think you’re an intellectual lightweight. Thanks for confirming it. Now run along and ask some difficult questions of our manager and CEO.

It’s called vaccinating ??? strange concept but the fact there’s 2 separate parts to the vaccine to be given 4 weeks apart means the first people to have been vaccinated will have had the second dose of it (the healthcare workers!) so they will then be fit to deal with it!

Maybe you should try some hard hitting questions in your day job.
