Roger Mitchell has claimed that Juventus and Milan are interested in signing Odsonne Edouard.

The former SPL Chief Executive has been based in Italy for more than a decade and claims to be a Celtic supporter.

Edouard has been well short of form for Celtic this season but over his three previous seasons at the club and as the record goal scorer for the French u-21 side his pedigree is certain to interest elite clubs.

Mitchell linked his tweet to Italian website Stop and Goal who report:

However, it must be said that Juventus for the winter football market that will open in a few days does not follow only Odsonne Edouard. The Celtic striker is valued at €30million by Celtic. A high demand, which could be lowered, but not so much.

It seems likely that Edouard will leave Celtic at some point in 2021 but a January departure wouldn’t be welcome with the hoops having a track record of failing to find replacements and prepare for the departure of top players.

Albian Ajeti and Patryk Klimala have been signed during 2020 but neither has completed a full 90 minutes for the club with Edouard recently reunited in attack with Leigh Griffiths.
