The fans were absent but everything else was there as celebrated another incredible day in the club’ history.

A Quadruple Treble has raised the bar higher than anyone could dare to imagine when they knocked out of the back in September 2016.

A few months later a packed Hampden witnessed a comfortable win over Aberdeen deliver the 100th trophy in Celtic’s history.

It was closure on an amazing chapter yesterday at Hampden as the Scottish Cup was once again handed over to the , the 40th time that the trophy had made the short journey to the east end of the city.

Yesterday there was no-one on hand to congratulate the winning players, there was no climb up the stairs to collect the trophy but the medals were the same as were the celebrations as once again the Scottish Cup was raised by a jubilant band of Celtic players.
