Chris Jullien is back in contention for the Celtic side to face Dundee United tomorrow but it’ll be a few weeks before James Forrest is back training.
Both men were a big part of last season’s successes but have missed sizeable parts of the current season through injury.
Jullien completed his set of domestic honours during the recent Scottish Cup Final but missed Saturday’s 3-0 win over Hamilton due to a knee injury.
Nir Bitton stepped in to partner Kris Ajer but with Shane Duffy on the bench and Jullien in contention Neil Lennon will have an interesting choice to make to face Dundee United.
Forrest hasn’t played since a hairline ankle fracture was detected at the end of September with his goals, assists and experience badly missed as Celtic went through a run of just two wins in 12 matches.
At today’s conference Lennon ruled out moving to sign another goalkeeper during the January transfer window.
? NL: “Jullien is fit, available and in contention.”
“We’re on a decent run and we want to maintain it. We are playing a good side tomorrow night. They’ve got good strikers. I think it’ll be a really good game and then another big game at the weekend.” #CELDUFC

? NL: “Jamesy will hopefully be back in training in a couple of weeks.
He’s been hugely missed. Not only his goals, but assists as well. He was coming into really good form. It’s been a very frustrating period for him but having him back will be like a new signing.” #CELDUFC
