Celtic face an anxious wait over the fitness of Chris Jullien ahead of Saturday’s Glasgow derby.
The Frenchman suffered a nasty leg injury early in the second half of the 3-0 win over Dundee United when he raced back to clear a shot off the goal line.
After a five minute delay Jullien was strapped in to a stretcher with Nir Bitton taking his place in central defence alongside Kris Ajer.
The former Toulouse defender returned to the starting side after missing the win over Hamilton due to a knee injury.
After the match Neil Lennon mentioned heavy bruising on the injury with the player likely to undergo scans to establish the extent of the damage.
Celtic recorded their fourth successive SPFL clean sheet against United but having Jullien in contention for Ibrox will provide a big boost.
If Jullien isn’t fit it will have a big impact on Saturday’s selection. If he is available it gives Lennon the option to play Kris Ajer at right-back but if he isn’t available the Norwegian will almost certainly be needed in central defence alongside Bitton or Shane Duffy.

Very brave of Chris to stop a certain goal. One of those horrible situations where you know you’re going to get injured but still choose the team first.
Speedy recovery Chris.
