David Turnbull completed an incredible year with a winners’ medal- and borrowed a catch-phrase from team-mate Jeremie Frimpong.
A year ago the Motherwell midfielder was in the middle of rehab after a knee operation which has denied him a £3m summer transfer to Celtic.
After being sent off in the Final of the Betfred Cup Frimpong summed up his emotions with ‘Oh My Days’ as he reflected on picking up his winners medal while his team-mates battled to victory.

Turnbull started his fourth Celtic match at Hampden, benefitting from Lockdown that delayed the final of the Scottish Cup by seven months.
The midfielder was substituted midway through the second half having made a significant contribution to the match before having to sit out the late drama.
Sunday’s Hampden win marks the end of an era with 12 successive trophy win, the early signs suggest that Turnbull will be central to future success with the defence of the Scottish Cup starting next month.
