A number of banners protesting against the hierarchy of Celtic have appeared on the barricades around the front entrance tonight.

Supporters have been met with a shrug of the shoulders from the club as they look for answers and action over a season that hangs by a thread in December with the team out of three competitions and trailing by 13 points in the SPFL.

Two statements in the space of seven days confirm that the board has ran out of ideas with little sign of communications or interaction with supporters.

One banner does the protestors absolutely no favours and gives their detractors something to deflect away from the genuine concerns that they raise.

Tomorrow morning the banners are likely to be removed by Celtic staff but it won’t be so easy for the club to stop the momentum of protest demanding change within the club.

Despite winning just two matches out of the last 12 it seems that Peter Lawwell has little to offer other than blind faith in the current management to turn things round.

After failing to beat Ross County of St Johnstone at home Neil Lennon is expected to face the media tomorrow to discuss his own position and Thursday’s match against Lille.
