Callum McGregor has revealed that Chris Jullien has shown no symptoms despite testing positive following Celtic’s training trip to Dubai.

The defender is out of action for three or four months due to knee ligament damage but joined his team-mates for the Dubai visit that has been heavily criticised with Peter Lawwell admitting that going ahead with the trip was a mistake.

Jullien was the only player that tested positive following Celtic’s return last Friday with his condition over-looked in the follow on that has involved the Scottish Government, the SFA and the SPFL.

Thirteen players plus Neil Lennon and John Kennedy missed the match against Hibs through self isolation but McGregor’s first concern was for the health of a team-mate.

Jullien is testing positive, the concern is there right away to see if he is OK and feeling well, that is the first thing. The boys were asking if the situation was OK  so thankfully I think that he is OK, he’s not had any symptoms which is good.

Celtic will have a depleted squad to pick from for tomorrow’s match against Livingston but Gavin Strachan has revealed that the players isolating will be available for Wednesday’s trip to Livingston.
