Celtic’s away day at Ross County next month has been switched to a bizarre 7.30pm Sunday kick-off.

In the old days when fans could attend matches the trip to Dingwall was usually a 12 noon or 12.30 kick off ensuring that fans were on the road before 7am to get along the A9 for the telly kick-off.

With lower division football still suspended the SPFL has brought forward the Premiership card from April 3 to February 20/21 which had been set aside for the Scottish Cup.

Sky Sports will have their usual rota of EPL matches to screen through the Sunday with Celtic’s trip to Ross County rounding the day off with a 7.30pm kick off.

The two clubs have already met home and away in the Premiership but the most memorable, for the wrong reasons, was the Betfred Cup clash in November which the Staggies won 2-0 in Glasgow.

Stuart Kettlewell ended Celtic’s four year long winning run in cup ties but within a month he had been sacked with John Hughes now in charge.
