Celtic will play St Mirren at home on Saturday January 30, with the fixture brought forward from March 3, which was a rearranged fixture.

January 30 was scheduled for Scottish Cup matches, with Celtic due to play Arbroath or Falkirk at home in a Third Round tie.

The Second Round tie was postponed on Saturday, when the lower two divisions were suspended on Monday the Scottish Cup was put on hold.

Celtic currently have three matches outstanding but with a 21 point gap at the top of the SPFL Premiership the outstanding fixtures are hardly relevant.

With St Mirren playing in the semi-final of the Betfred Cup on January 23 Celtic have a free weekend between the away match at Livingston and home game against Hamilton on January 27.

The SPFL have taken advantage of the delay in the Scottish Cup by arranging four matches on January 30.

If the suspension of the lower leagues is extended beyond three weeks there will be doubts over whether the Scottish Cup can be played with the final scheduled for May 9 in order to prepare Hampden for the European Championships.
