Celtic’s Official Twitter account has contradicted Neil Lennon by claiming that only one player has recorded a positive test.
During his explosive media conference Lennon revealed that there had been two positive results with Anthony Joseph of Sky Sports News tweeting that development.
Normally Celtic’s Social Media team tweet the tamer comments from media conferences but today they fell silent, completely ignoring Lennon as he hit out at the hypocrisy of Scottish Government Officials, the media and pundits.
It was an incredible display which overshadowed the second positive test that he mentioned although that appears to have been denied by Celtic’s Twitter account.
At 4pm today Celtic hadn’t uploaded the video of today’s conference onto their You Tube channel with nothing on the club website since an interview with Gavin Strachan was published on Sunday.
Today’s media conference was by invite only to the club’s preferred media partners and was conducted by Zoom call.
The isolating group of 16 people have all recorded negative tests, apart from one player. The player will continue to isolate and we wish him a speedy recovery.
