Chris Jullien gives illness update to Celtic fans

Chris Jullien has taken to Instagram for the first time since he returned a positive test following Celtic’s trip to Dubai.

Last Sunday Celtic made the announcement of a positive test, at lunchtime on Monday Jullien was named with 13 players forced into self isolation.

While Celtic were plunged into chaos it is easy to overlook the impact on a player picking up a virus that has killed close to 90,000 people across the UK in less than a year.

Jullien is likely to be out of action until April after damaging knee ligaments in the final match of 2020 as Celtic beat Dundee United 2-0 at home.

Tomorrow Neil Lennon is expected to have a full squad training together for the first time since Celtic left Dubai.

Celtic dropped four points in the two matches where the squad was depleted but even at full strength Wednesday’s match away to Livingston will be a tough challenge with Celtic losing and drawing in their two visits last season to the Toni Macaroni Stadium.
