A very interesting message has appeared on Social Media today which could go a long way towards explaining Neil Lennon’s anger today and in particular the references to the Scottish Government.
The justification for Chris Jullien’s inclusion on the trip to Dubai might never surface but his positive test and the list of those identified as close contacts requires further explanation.
With the Frenchman unable to take part in training it would seem natural that his close contacts would be more likely to be the medical staff than the forward line.

From the message above it seems that the goalposts were shifted from 2 metres to 4 which has brought in a lot more names to self-isolate than Celtic anticipated. Also, very close to departure, approval for the Dubai trip was given by the Scottish Government.
Jullien’s contacts getting onto the transport to the Airport then on the plane seem to have been the focus of action rather than his contacts through a couple of days of rehabilitation.
The relationship between the Scottish Government and the football authorities seems very fragile, if the message above is correct it goes a long way to explaining Lennon’s anger with Celtic the victims in a running feud between two warring authorities.
