Chris Sutton has tweeted a plea from a Celtic fan urging the club to put Neil Lennon on gardening leave.
Fans were furious at another below par performance as Celtic lost at home for the sixth time this season, leaving the gap at the top of the SPFL Premiership at 23 points.
Sutton backed Lennon to turn things around well into the season but has now conceded that it is time for change at Celtic with the 10th successive title win clearly out of reach.

Lennon hasn’t shown any sign of resigning from the job that he took up on a 12-month rolling contract in May 2019. Last season he took the club to a fourth successive treble but this season’s collapse has been one of the most spectacular in the history of the club.
On Friday Peter Lawwell announced that he would be leaving at the end of the season, the vast majority of fans want Lennon to follow him out the club with immediate effect.
