The Green Brigade have given their backing to a protest campaign launched by The Cynic Celtic podcast.

Anger, frustration and disconnection with the club hasn’t been so obvious since the early 1990s when Michael Kelly was telling supporters that only people with his surname, or White knew what was best for the club.

While the club is in a far stronger position back then there are many similarities with the CEO and Board of Directors viewed as aloof and detached from the issues that matter most to supporters.

The Cynic has published a letter template for Chairman Ian Bankier listing a number of points of concern.

A 20 plus points gap at the top of the table has been compounded by a trip to Dubai that has turned into an unmitigated disaster.

That was compounded by the most laboured and qualified of apologies from Peter Lawwell which only served to highlight the disconnect across the club.

With fans unable to attend matches protest has switched from outside the stadium to online. Almost every communication from the club on Social Media is met by calls from fans for the CEO and manager Neil Lennon to resign.
