The wisdom of going ahead with the trip was already under fierce criticism but when one player tested positive on return there was no further argument.
Failure to enforce Social Distancing on a plane and during coach trips compounded the issue with the icing on the cake coming when the positive player was the guy out of action for three or four months.
James Forrest is apparently close to a return but didn’t join the trip with Sutton at a loss to justify why someone with a long-term injury was taken away on a six day trip.
