One group of Celtic fans delivered their own managerial review to the hierarchy tonight with a banner messages at the top of The Celtic Way.

OUR REVIEW IS COMPLETE, MISMANAGED AT EVERY LEVEL fitted the mood of many fans after another disastrous media conference that revealed that Jeremie Frimpong is abroad completing a transfer to another club.

Neil Lennon was unconvincing as he shared the news, mentioning at one stage that the 20-year-old wanted to play at an ambitious club. That and mention of the Old Firm just about summed up today’s media performance.

After fan protests at successive home matches in the autumn Celtic issued a statement backing Lennon but promising a managerial review in the new year.

Twenty-six days and four winless matches into the new year and there is no word from the club despite hopes of 10-in-a-row lagging 23 points behind in second place in the SPFL.

On Wednesday night Celtic host Hamilton Accies, in a season of misery nothing is certain against a club that has been battling against relegation for at least four years.
