Ryan Kent is available for a bargain £5m according to a report by Phil MacGiollabhain.

After losing 2-0 to Celtic at Ibrox in September 2019 the Ibrox club reacted by signing Kent with Liverpool likely to have a sell-on clause.

Separate to the deal with Liverpool the player signed a four year contract with his agent ensuring that the winger would be affordable for a move out of Ibrox.

During the summer Steven Gerrard spoke about interest from Leeds United, if the release fee revealed by MacGiollabhain is correct there is bound to be an offer coming in this month:

My information is that the player supposedly had a £15m release clause in his contract, but there was a typo in the paperwork that was signed, and it said £5 million instead.

While hardly being outstanding during his 18 months at Ibrox it shouldn’t be too difficult to find a club willing to pay £5m for Kent who reportedly cost £7m from Liverpool.

After a bright start to the season Kent has scored just once since September and was substituted by Brandon Barker late on during yesterday’s 1-1 draw at Motherwell.
