Celtic fans were demanding more changes than just Peter Lawwell after watching their side crash to a 2-2 defeat from Saint Mirren.
It was Celtic’s sixth home defeat of the season and came as little surprise as 2021 starts in a more depressing manner than 2020 ended.
Peter Lawwell’s announced his departure early on Friday morning then took a front row seat as his legacy to Dominic McKay continued to crumble on the park.
Sitting in the dug-out was Neil Lennon, trusted by the out-going CEO to deliver a 10th title with the credentials of knowing the city and having an eye for a player.
All of the 11 players that started today played below potential which has been a recurring theme of this season with no-one prepared to accept responsibility
With more than a day still to go January has brought a derby defeat at Ibrox, a disastrous trip to Dubai, back-to-back draws with Livingston and the sale of the most promising young defender at the club.
At the start of December the club promised supporters a managerial review in the new year, with January almost over there is no sign of that review seeing light but fans haven’t been slow to share their views with the club’s Twitter account.

Surely this has to be the end of the current management, failure upon failure upon failure, the damage they are doing will continue into next season of the club don’t act now
