Stephen Welsh and Cameron Harper have been dropped from the Celtic side that drew with Hibs in midweek with Tony Ralston and Nir Bitton coming into another new look defence.

Jeremie Frimpong moves forward into midfield, Dacid Turnbull switches to the left with Mikey Johnston looking like playing as the lone striker.

Welsh looked to be Celtic’s best defender against Hibs but while Shane Duffy and Diego Laxalt retain their place the Academy kid drops out to make way for Bitton. Ralston starts his first Celtic match in over a year.

Livingston come to Celtic Park as the form club in Scottish football on the back of eight successive wins, six in the SPFL Premiership, since Dave Martindale replaced Gary Holt as manager.

Last Sunday, with Alan Forrest coming off the bench, Livi beat Ross County 3-1 at home but their midweek match against Aberdeen was called off shortly before kick-off time due to torrential rain.

On Wednesday the two clubs meet again, this time at the Toni Macaroni Stadium.

CELTIC: Hazard; Ralston, Bitton, Duffy, Laxalt; McGregor, Soro; Frimpong, Rogic, Turnbull; Johnston

SUBS: Doohan, Taylor, Connell, Robertson, Oko Flex, Henderson, Harper, Welsh, Karamoko
