BBC Scotland were very selective with their use of highlights from yesterday’s full SPFL card.

Needing to create time for expert analysis actual footage from their matches is cut down but someone inside the state broadcaster took a very strategic decision on what they could broadcast from the Easter Road action.

Showing Alfredo Morelos stamping on Ryan Porteous was hard to avoid as the Columbian continued his attacks on fellow professionals with Mark Connolly and Jeremie Frimpong recent victims.

With his past record it was no surprise that Kevin Clancy took no action, later he told Jack Ross that he viewed it as a tangle of legs.

Early in the second half, after Morelos had scored, Hibs were pushing for an equaliser when Connor Goldson decided to join in with two hands in the back of a Hibs striker as he positioned himself for a header at goal.

The Ibrox side went to Easter Road without conceding a penalty or red card in 25 SPFL Premiership games this season, Clancy looked the other way from the penalty incident with BBC Scotland sport choosing to do the same.
