It was business as usual at Easter Road tonight with Kevin Clancy taking no chances as Steven Gerrard’s side heading for the SPFL title.
In the 19th minute Alfredo Morelos decided to deliberately stamp on Ryan Porteous with Clancy following instructions to look the other way.
Against Dundee United the Ibrox striker decided to plant a forearm into the head of Mark Connolly. Steven McLean decided that it was only a yellow card, the Ibrox side went on to win 2-1 with a retrospective red card ruling Morelos out for two matches, not that it was of much use to Dundee United.
In the first game of 2021 Bobby Madden watched Morelos stamp on the heel of Jeremie Frimpong but decided against taking any action. Morelos picked up a yellow card in the second half then had to be restrained by Madden before being substituted.
During the second half tonight Connor Goldson used two hands to push over a Hibs forward, like the stamp on Porteous Clancy decided not to see anything in the incident. The Ibrox side won 1-0.

? | “It could easily be a red for Morelos.”
Should the Rangers striker have been sent off for this challenge? ?
