With the connection issues cleared Celtic supporters were able to hear the views of Gordon Strachan on a 1-0 win over Aberdeen and where the club stands just now.
A rant over Odsonne Edouard and Ismaila Soro sharing a laugh was trademark Strachan as he showed his passion for the game and disconnect with the current generation of players.
As the hoops duo made their way into the dressing room there to meet them would be Gavin Strachan, whose Dad had just been ranting to Season Ticket holders.
Strachan Senior then went on to whitewash the club for the way that the season has collapsed with no trophies likely after winning 12 on the bounce.
At any level it has been a spectacular collapse, those inside the club appear to have shown little concern and made no effort to bring in change but the fans have been vociferous with the warning signs stretching back to the visit of Ferencvaros in August.
By the time October and November came around the team was in free-fall, an issue recognised by supporters but dismissed by the ‘custodians’.
Strachan Snr has real difficulties recognising genuine concerns from anyone outside his very limited football bubble. As a football manager you can get away with that, showing your disdain for the questions from the media and their audience.
As a pundit it’s not on. You are supposed to entertain and enlighten those looking in, even more so when most have paid £600 or so for a stream of dubious quality.
Finding some pundits that can relate to the issues and concerns of the fans (customers) isn’t easy but clearly having Strachan Snr lecturing isn’t the smartest move in engaging with your customer base.
Very soon Celtic will launch their Season Ticket Renewal campaign, perhaps it might be best to allow Strachan back to being Director of Football with Dundee as the charm switch is turned on full blast.
Do you think the fact that Strachan has 2 sons in employment at CP had anything to do with the fact there was a reluctance from him to see any “Change” ?

If there was ever a time for @CelticTV to cut out while streaming @CelticFCPass then it would be right now. Gordon Strachan making himself look a right dinosaur here with this rant clearly aiming towards supporters whilst defending his two pals…

Strachan is the Dundee director of football and he spends his Saturday afternoons on Celtic TV. I like Strachan but if I was a Dundee fan I’d be scratching my head….

Thought Celtic TV was back to the old Pravda days today .
Started off with NLs “development of Ajer” ???,
Strachan has previously said “if you haven’t played pro football your opinion doesn’t matter to me” ,that attitude shone through today.— Mick McCreadie (@McCreadieMick) February 27, 2021
Gordon Strachan the perfect custodian to be employed by Celtic TV to spin the board narrative. What an arrogant and ignorant little rodent. Stubbs grow a set and back-up the point you’re trying to make, not letting Chesney influence you.

Wee Gordon Strachan having a mini meltdown on Celtic TV here ?

Gordon Strachan had his say on a lot of things.
Some of it very valid.
Much of it, rubbing people up the wrong way.
That’s him though.
Still made some valid football points— It dusnae Vata (@gazzarinho1) February 27, 2021
Obviously Strachan is not interested in the job, working on Celtic TV today instead of watching his own club play.
