Huddersfield Town have ended their interest in Armstrong Oko Flex.

The teenager is out of contract in June allowing him to move on as a free agent three years after joining Celtic from Arsenal.

During his first season he seemed to be making progress at Celtic but last season his development stalled with a lack of organised fixtures followed by Lockdown.

Crystal Palace had been linked with taking the English and Irish youth internationalist back to London but with a fee involved their interest fizzled out.

Oko Flex never made it into the Celtic squad that travelled to Dubai but that opened an unexpected first team door when 13 players were forced to self isolate on return with the former Arsenal man coming off the bench against Hibs and Livingston.

With the full squad available again he hasn’t made the matchday squad for the subsequent matches with his Celtic career looking like running down over the next four months. Oko Flex will be 19 next month.
