St Mirren have tweeted a picture of their pitch in perfect condition and appear confident that tonight’s match against Celtic will go ahead as planned.

Over the last two the Central Belt of Scotland has suffered severe snowfalls with tonight’s match between Livingston and Hamilton called off after a noon inspection.

Paisley hasn’t escaped the snowfall but there seems little danger to tonight’s match going ahead with the Sky Sports cameras in town to show the match live.

The two teams met less than a fortnight ago with St Mirren enjoying their first win at Celtic Park in 31 years, since that clash both teams have comfortably beaten Kilmarnock.

Celtic won 2-1 away to St Mirren earlier in the season and go into tonight’s match on the back of two consecutive wins for the first time this year.

Neil Lennon will have Albian Ajeti available for selection after the striker successfully appealed against a two-match suspension for simulation during last week’s 4-0 win away to Kilmarnock.
