Hamilton Accies were making unwelcome headlines last night on the back of one tweet.
It wasn’t about Brian Rice’s team staying bottom of the table after chucking away a half-time lead against Ross County but for a comment by one of their commentators heard by Season Ticket holders watching from home.
Apparently an overly graphic description of his half-time visit to the toilet shocked the club hierarchy into decisive action soon after the final whistle.
On the park Accies are now four points behind Ross County, even with two games in hand it looks like their eight year stay in the top flight is under its most serious threat.
A contractor used by the club on summarising / co-commentary duties overstepped the mark this evening with a very poor attempt at humour. The club didn’t find this funny, and the person will not be used again. Our apologies for this.

Sacked for saying Jobbie with his team, funnily enough, bottom of the table.

‘Doing a jobby, had to squeeze it out, a wee poop’

Get over yourselves! He said jobby. Unless he flung it into the centre circle, see the funny side.

(To the tune of Miss Polly).
Poor Bobby had a jobby, as he’d commentate. He had to do it quickly, before it was too late. He told all viewers, as he was on his way back. Now he needs another jobby, as they’ve gave him the sack. ?— Iain (@thecampsieloyal) February 4, 2021
