A week after picking up Fixed Penalties from Police Scotland for attending a house party the SFA has yet to take any action or raise a charge against the Ibrox Five.

It took the club four days to admit that Nathan Patterson, Calvin Bassey, Bongani Zungu, Dapo Mebude and Brian Kinnear had been caught but so far the players have only been subjected to an internal investigation. Or as Steven Gerrard likes to put it marking your own homework.

Back in August the SFA weren’t slow to postpone Celtic’s matches against St Mirren and Aberdeen after Boli Bolingoli took a trip to Spain and refused to self-isolate. It was only last week that Celtic managed to play their match against Aberdeen.

Today, Dundee United travel to Ibrox with Gerrard having his five Covidiots available for selection. What the club decides to do with players internally is their own business- Patterson and Bassey are available for selection if the Ibrox boss decides to rest Borma Barasic while James Tavernier faces upto what looks like a long term injury.
